Job Title: Roofing Consultant

At Platinum Roofing LLC, we are seeking a skilled Roofing Consultant to join our team. As a Roofing Consultant, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of existing commercial roofs and properties, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and providing detailed reports on roofing age, type, and deficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct roof inspections on existing commercial properties to identify potential issues or defects and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project managers, customer service representatives, and onsite teams to conduct inspections and provide detailed specifications and drawings for reroof and recover projects.
  • Stay updated on industry standards and certifications relevant to roofing and construction quality.
  • Provide detailed reports on roofing age, type, and deficiencies, as well as budgeted numbers for repair or replacement.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in roofing, construction, and design, with knowledge of various roofing systems (e.g., TPO, PVC, Mod-Bit, BUR, Shingles, Metal).
  • Familiarity with industry standards, including NRCA, OSHA, and local building codes.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel frequently to job sites.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with project teams and preparing reports.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, inspection software, SpecPoint, CAD, and Salesforce.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various project locations.
  • Registered Roof Observer Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Registered Roof Consultant
  • Registered Waterproofing Consultant
  • Registered Exterior Wall Consultant
  • Registered Building Enclosure Consultant
  • Certified in capacitance surveys, IR scans, safety inspections
  • Knowledge in paving and building envelope.
  • 4+ Years Experience in the Roof Consulting Industry
