Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Engineer to join our team at Virginia Transformer Corp. As an Inside Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our Outside Sales team by ensuring timely submission of techno-commercially accurate offers, detailing engineering with relevant teams, and ensuring timely booking of Purchase Orders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and understand inquiry documents, listing out techno-commercial observations.
  • Log inquiries in our internal portal and represent them for further discussions and observations.
  • Send client commercial T&Cs to our contracts team for clarification and approval.
  • Prepare bid packages and pricing summaries for approval of market leaders and ensure timely offer submission to Outside Sales/Authorized Sales Representatives.
  • In case of order finalization, prepare engineering packages and update internal portals for further discussion with application, project, and plant engineering teams for detail engineering.
  • Send Purchase Orders to our contracts team for audit and approval.
  • Get POs converted through relevant teams.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical or equivalent.

Experience: 2-4 years of Inside Sales experience in the Electrical industry (preferably Transformers).

Skills & Abilities:

Computer Skills: Microsoft Outlook, MS-Word, MS-Excel, PDF, customer management software, ERP, or equivalent.
