Job Summary:

The Industrial Electrical Foreman position plays a crucial role in our industrial projects, ensuring a quality installation for our customers while promoting safety at all times.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead by example, promoting and ensuring all team members understand and adhere to Moore's Vision, Mission, and Values.
  • Ensure the protection of all team members by prioritizing safety and executing lead measures effectively.
  • Champion Continuous Improvement and Lean methodology, working closely with the Continuous Improvement Manager to apply Lean principles.
  • Oversee manpower allocation to ensure financial and skillset balance for all projects.
  • Initial scheduling and ongoing monitoring of project schedules.
  • Maintain positive and professional relationships with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and engineers.
  • Market Moore's Electrical & Mechanical Construction, Inc. to clients and stay informed about upcoming work opportunities.
  • Correct job set-ups using task codes.
  • Maintain a change order log.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are used efficiently and properly maintained on the jobsite.
  • Coordinate with the Tool and Equipment Department to ensure adequate tools and equipment for projects.
  • Document all project correspondence, emphasizing the avoidance of claims and protection of Moore's interests.
  • Keep the Project Manager and Operations Manager informed of major developments and provide constructive suggestions for improving procedures, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Cooperate fully with other department members and assist with their efforts whenever possible.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Project Manager and/or Operations Manager.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of industrial mechanical experience.
  • 2+ years of job site leadership experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with dedication and patience being key.
  • Able to read and interpret job site documentation without supervision.
  • Ensure installations are done according to job documents and drawings.
  • Provide a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Smart sheets.
  • Able to lift up to 85 pounds.
  • Able to handle and control tools or equipment.
  • Ability to work outdoors with exposure to weather.
  • Ability to work at heights from ladders, lifts, and/or scaffolding.
  • Ability to work in cramped, awkward, and/or confined spaces for prolonged periods.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
