Optician Specialist

VSP Vision is seeking a skilled Optician to join our team. As an Optician, you will play a vital role in helping customers find the perfect eyeglasses and contact lenses that meet their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Determine the reason for the patient's visit and identify lifestyle needs to deliver personalized recommendations.
• Assist customers in selecting frames and coordinate them with optical measurements and prescriptions.
• Recommend specific lenses, lens coatings, and frames to suit customer needs, occupation, habits, and facial features.
• Ensure correct pricing and realistic delivery time quotes to patients.
• Provide enthusiastic and concise communication to meet and exceed patient expectations.

Requirements:

• One to two years of experience in a related field.
• Working knowledge of MS Office package.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and rapport-building skills.
