Job Summary

South College is seeking a highly motivated and innovative Admissions Officer to join our team in Asheville, NC. As a key member of our admissions team, you will play a critical role in guiding school applicants through the application and admission process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess applicant skills, education, and career goals to provide personalized guidance.
  • Provide prospective students with information on registration, program selection, and academic requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date application files.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews, orientation, and other events.
  • Collaborate with the Physician Assistant Director of Operations on administrative tasks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Prior experience in CASPA and higher education admissions preferred.
  • Familiarity with academic and higher education aspects preferred.

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database applications is also required.
