Your Role:
We are in search of a highly qualified and experienced Software Licensing Specialist to join our Finance > Indirect Procurement team.

As a Software Licensing Specialist at NVIDIA, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our software assets are managed effectively and adhere to industry regulations.

You will collaborate closely with IT, Indirect Procurement, Finance, Legal, and various business units to maintain accurate information regarding the organization’s software assets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Entitlement Baselines and Effective License Positions in line with publisher requirements using SAM tools.
- Monitor and identify compliance risks associated with software licenses.
- Coordinate software and license reclamation initiatives.
- Optimize software assets through rationalization and consumption analysis.
- Support software audit processes.

Additionally, you will:
- Address software license inquiries related to purchases, installations, and usage, providing licensing recommendations to stakeholders to enhance the value of the Software Asset Management program.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities, collaborating with the Software Asset Manager to improve efficiency, refine processes, and establish program metrics.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or business (or equivalent experience).
- Over 5 years of professional experience in the Software Asset Management field.

Essential skills include:
- Practical experience in configuring software licenses, use-right rules, contracts, and purchases to generate effective license positions and reports in SAM tools.
- Ability to multitask, with a keen attention to detail and effective prioritization in a dynamic environment.
- A focus on business needs and a collaborative spirit.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and persistent, with the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with Software Asset Management tools such as Flexera, Service Now, Productiv, and Zylo is advantageous.
