We are seeking a skilled and proactive Quality Inspector to become part of our expanding team for a direct hire contract role that operates during the night shift. This position will require working outdoors in various weather conditions, exposure to elevated noise levels and unusual odors, as well as confined space operations and navigating areas with overhead activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, interpret, and comprehend Weld Map Isometric drawings utilizing software applications
  • Input welding and inspection data into the tracking system
  • Support pressure testing strategies and procedures
  • Compile project documentation sets
  • Conduct and record inspections in accordance with drawings, specifications, and protocols to assess compliance
  • Evaluate welders and carry out weld inspections following various codes
  • Adhere to Project Quality Assurance Plans
  • Implement Inspection and Test Plans (I&TPs)
  • Assist the Site Quality Manager with daily tasks as required
  • Uphold Mullins core values and safety regulations

Qualifications
  • Experience and knowledge from working within a Quality Management Program
  • At least 4 years of professional experience as a Quality Inspector and/or Quality Technician
  • Must possess current AWS CWI, ASNT VT II, and/or API 510/570 certifications
  • Comprehensive understanding of NDT techniques (UT, MT, PT, RT)
  • Familiarity with ASTM standards and materials
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and construction project management software (Procore preferred)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate with colleagues
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • High level of organizational capabilities
  • Extensive experience in reading and interpreting drawings
  • Must be a quick learner and self-driven with a desire to develop and advance
  • Willingness to travel and relocate as necessary
  • Experience adhering to customer specifications
  • Familiarity with verifying mechanical equipment alignment
  • Thorough knowledge of codes and standards (ASME, AWS, ACI, AISC, NACE)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be capable of climbing stairs and ladders while working on scaffolds and in trenches
  • Must be comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and traversing uneven terrain for prolonged durations
  • Must hold a valid driver's license and proof of insurability, with the ability to pass an MVR background check
