Job Summary:

Huntsman International LLC is seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of quality materials in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Operations department, including administration, planning, coordination, and identifying key initiatives.
  • Take ownership of plant administrative practices and procedures.
  • Lead the day-to-day activities in the plant through influence and direction of the Operations team.
  • Administer plant personnel policies, evaluate team performance, and make recommendations to Plant Manager on hiring, promotions, salaries, and release of people under your direction.
  • Take ownership of plant operations leading all personnel in EHS excellence to achieve exceptional Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS) performance.
  • Directly responsible for the Operations department conducting business in a safe and environmentally compliant manner and extending such protection to the neighboring community.
  • Participate in budget development activities, review costs and expenses, and strive for profitable performance of the operating units.
  • Identify and participate in implementing process improvements and cost reduction opportunities.
  • Oversee the developmental needs of the Operations department.
  • Participate in and complete company-required training programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering, or Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Process Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience with engineering principles governing petrochemical or chemical operations.
  • 3+ years of experience with technical proficiency in chemistry and engineering principles.
  • 8+ years of related experience in chemical plant operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Leadership role experience.
  • Process Engineering experience.
  • SAP experience.
