Cardiovascular ICU Nurse Role

At Sunrise Hospital, we are looking for a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular ICU team. As a Registered Nurse in this position, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while maintaining a collaborative approach with the healthcare team.
  • Implement evidence-based practice and patient-centered care to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, including vital signs, medications, and treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote excellence in patient care.
  • Assume the role of Team Leader as needed, providing guidance and support to colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements

  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Independently maintains licensure and acquires required contact hours to maintain practice.
  • Basic computer and hospital informatics skills required.
  • CPR and ACLS certifications required.
  • Experience in acute care and specialty courses within 6 months of hire preferred.
