Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor in Information Systems to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching various courses in Information Systems, including computer programming, web development, and database management.

Responsibilities
  • Teach face-to-face and online courses in Information Systems, including computer programming, web development, and database management.
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students in Information Systems.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students.
  • Stay current with industry trends and developments in Information Systems.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 18 graduate semester hours in Computer Science or Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, and 5+ years of experience in Information Technology.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in computer programming, web development, and database management.
  • Knowledge of databases, including SQL, MySQL, and Big Data/Analytics.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system and current Microsoft Office applications.
  • Previous teaching experience in Information Technology, especially in an LMS (Learning Management System) such as D2L (Desire2Learn).
