Sign Refinisher

The Kent Companies is seeking a skilled Sign Refinisher to join our team. As a Sign Refinisher, you will be responsible for preparing, painting, and refurbishing metal cabinets, structures, and other sign components. Your primary tasks will include planning and collaborating with the department purchaser to ensure necessary materials are available, applying various painting mediums to surfaces using appropriate methods and manufacturer's instructions, and performing tasks related to patching, surface preparation, and painting. Key responsibilities include:

* Preparing and painting metal cabinets and structures
* Refurbishing and refinishing sign components
* Collaborating with the department purchaser to ensure necessary materials are available
* Applying various painting mediums to surfaces using appropriate methods and manufacturer's instructions

Requirements:

* 2+ years of experience in sign painting or a related field
* Strong knowledge of painting mediums and techniques
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
