Sign Refinisher

The Kent Companies is seeking a skilled Sign Painter to join our team. As a Sign Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, painting, refinishing, and refurbishing metal cabinets, structures, channel letters, bases, and other sign components. Your primary tasks will include planning, collaborating, and communicating with the department purchaser to ensure necessary materials are available, applying various painting mediums to surfaces using appropriate methods and manufacturer's instructions, and performing tasks related to patching, surface preparation, and painting. Key responsibilities include:

* Preparing and painting metal cabinets, structures, and other sign components
* Refinishing and refurbishing existing signs
* Collaborating with the department purchaser to ensure necessary materials are available
* Applying various painting mediums to surfaces using appropriate methods and manufacturer's instructions
* Performing tasks related to patching, surface preparation, and painting
