Position Overview: We are seeking compassionate Nursing Care Assistants (NCA) to become integral members of our care team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering routine daily nursing care to residents, following established procedures and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with their daily nursing and rehabilitation needs.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident conditions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
  • Support residents with personal grooming and hygiene needs.
  • Respond promptly to resident call lights and ensure their comfort.
  • Keep resident care areas clean and organized.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents and their families.
  • Adhere to facility policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Active and unencumbered Nursing Care Assistant license or in the process of obtaining one.
  • CPR certification and experience in long-term care preferred, but not required.
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to interact tactfully with residents, families, and staff.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new methods in nursing practices.
