Qualifications and Responsibilities

To be eligible for this role, you must have:

  • Minimum one year of work experience
  • One year of experience providing hands-on care, or a Home Health Aide Certificate, or a Certified Nursing Assistant License

As a Home Health Aide, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with activities of daily living
  • Providing light housekeeping and laundry services
  • Assisting with bathing, grooming, and toileting
  • Providing nail care and range of motion exercises
  • Assisting with transfers and using mechanical lifting devices
  • Providing oral feeding and vital sign checks
  • Assisting with home management tasks, such as meal preparation and bed making
  • Assisting with ambulation and medication assistance
