SUMMARY
The role of the Assembler is crucial for the assembly of various components including piping, valves, gauges, reliefs, burners, and other related equipment on pressure vessels and skids.

A successful candidate will demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, ensuring that all quality standards are upheld.

COMPENSATION
$2,500 SIGN ON BONUS

QUALIFICATIONS
To excel in this position, candidates must be capable of fulfilling each essential duty satisfactorily. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Regular and punctual attendance is a fundamental job function for all positions and is vital for both individual and team effectiveness. Responsibilities include:

  • Safe and proper operation of various hand, air, and power tools.
  • Identification and inspection of all parts for defects to guarantee quality products.
  • Inspection of all connections to ensure proper sealing.
  • Accurate identification and documentation of vessel parts/components.
  • Preparation and securing of parts or vessels for hydrostatic testing in accordance with regulatory, customer, and internal standards.
  • Assistance in loading shipments.
  • Exhibiting a positive attitude and embracing the company philosophy.
  • Adherence to all safety and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Cutting and threading pipe, as well as installing, aligning, and sealing flanged pipe.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 6 months of experience in heavy assembly, manufacturing, or material handling, or equivalent experience. Candidates must possess:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification to safely operate a Crane and Forklift.
  • Intermediate math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.
  • The capacity to learn about pressure gauges and their applications.
  • The ability to read and comprehend assembly blueprints and bills of materials.
  • Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing methods.
  • Understanding and adherence to quality and production policies and procedures, including defect detection.

  • Stand for extended periods, potentially for the entire shift.
  • Handle physically repetitive tasks.
  • Exert moderate to heavy physical effort, with lifting requirements up to 50 pounds.
  • Exhibit a strong range of motion.
  • Perform actions such as sitting, standing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and bending.
  • See, speak, and hear effectively.
  • Read instructions and measuring devices.
  • Manipulate tools and small parts using fingers and hands.
  • Walk over both even and uneven surfaces.
  • Work in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold.
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Access all areas of the plant and grounds, including tight spaces.

Some aspects of this position may require close vision, depth perception, the ability to see small details, and the ability to adjust focus.

SALARY
Minimum $22/hour, depending on experience.
