Certified Surgical Technologist for Travel Assignments

We are seeking a Travel Certified Surgical Technologist to join our esteemed facility. This role is essential in providing high-quality surgical support in various settings.
Certification Requirements- BLS - Basic Life Support certification is mandatory prior to commencement.
- Additional certifications may be necessary for specific specialties.
- Work Schedule: 36 hours per week.
- Work Setting Experience: Preferred in Inpatient, Outpatient, Teaching Hospitals, Community Hospitals, and Children's Hospitals.
- Essential Skills: Proficiency in Neuro Surgery techniques including Anterior cervical fusion, burr holes, cervical fusion, craniotomy, deep brain stimulation, insertion of VP shunt, laminectomy/discectomy, lumbar fusion, stereotactic radiosurgery, Posterior Fossa Decompression, ALIF, and MIS.
The primary services include Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, and Plastics, with a focus on reconstructive procedures. Our facility is equipped with advanced robotic systems for enhanced surgical precision.
Job Requirements- Only three days of requested time off.
- Certifications Required: BLS.
- Skills Required: Scrub and Aseptic Technique.
- Surgical Cases Required: Experience in General, Orthopedic, Neuro, and Plastic surgeries.
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience is necessary.
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
- On-call duties may involve up to seven calls within an eight-week schedule, with a response time of within 60 minutes.
The unit specializes in Neurosurgery and Orthopedics, including spine surgery, utilizing state-of-the-art robotic technology.
