Position Overview

We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our esteemed facility. This role is designed for professionals with a passion for surgical assistance and a commitment to patient care.

Certification Requirements
  • Mandatory Certifications: BLS
  • Certifications verified through NOVA
Job Specifications
  • Work Schedule: 36 hours per week
  • Essential Skills: Proficiency in Scrub and Aseptic Technique
  • Surgical Cases: Experience in General, Orthopedic, Neurological, and Plastic surgeries
  • Preferred Work Environment: Inpatient, Outpatient, Teaching Hospitals, Community Hospitals, and Children's Hospitals
  • Experience Requirement: Minimum of 2 years in the field
  • New Travelers: First-time travelers are welcome
  • Scrubs: Provided by the facility
  • On-Call Duties: Up to 7 calls within an 8-week period; response time within 60 minutes
  • Facility Type: Short-Term Acute Care, Teaching Hospital
  • Total Staffed Beds: 402
  • Charting System: Cerner
Job Expectations
  • Must maintain a score of 4 or higher on the skills checklist for Neuro Surgery
  • Demonstrated experience in Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, and Plastic Surgery, with a focus on reconstructive procedures
  • Familiarity with advanced surgical technologies, including Xi and Si robots, as well as specialized equipment for deep brain surgery
