Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiographer to join our team at Ephrata Diagnostic Radiology. As a Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized diagnostic radiographic procedures at an intermediate or beginning specialist skill level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic examinations and diagnostic procedures in various specialty areas, including routine mammography and breast biopsies, operating room procedures, and trauma procedures.
  • Schedule cases to coordinate with other patient examinations and position patients safely and comfortably.
  • Explain basic procedures to patients and immobilize them as necessary, practicing radiation safety procedures.
  • Maintain established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
  • Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops.
  • Provide outstanding service to all customers, foster teamwork, and practice fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.
  • Supervise, assist, and evaluate students in the clinical education setting.
  • Prepare and maintain written documentation as required by the profession and the department.
Requirements
  • Associates degree in radiologic technology or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in radiography or related field.
  • Basic Life Support certification upon hire.
  • Registration in a specific modality (e.g., mammography, CT, MRI) upon hire.
