Job DescriptionOverview

The Installation Specialist plays a crucial role in the setup of tailored structures, cabinetry, millwork, and medical apparatus, as well as the removal of existing equipment. This position also encompasses various renovation tasks within healthcare environments and the installation of diverse client products.

Compensation: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour

Core Responsibilities – All Levels

  • Comply with all KR Wolfe policies and procedures at all times.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the dress code, including the use of appropriate safety gear.
  • Utilize company-provided devices for communication regarding project details, travel schedules, daily timecards, and project documentation.
  • Accurately complete daily timecards and document activities through notes and photographs.
  • Ensure the upkeep of all company and client property.
  • Prepare documentation using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Demonstrate professional etiquette with colleagues, supervisors, and clients.
  • Exhibit strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Manage various project-related information and responsibilities.
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Identify and resolve issues, escalating to KR Wolfe leadership as necessary.
  • Complete Punch List Items.
  • Interpret and understand schedules.
  • Maintain positive communication with clients.
  • Demonstrate environmental awareness and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Maintain all required credentials.
Tier 1 – Labor
  • Execute manual labor tasks.
  • Safely operate power tools (drills, saws, etc.) and hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers, etc.).
  • Complete OSHA 10 Training.
  • Identify hazardous materials.
  • Experience in demolition tasks.
  • Possess skills in Crisis Management, Client Communication, Jobsite Safety, and Team Building.
  • Work under supervision.
Tier 2 – Skilled Laborer
  • Fulfill all Tier 1 requirements.
  • Exhibit strong teamwork, leadership, and collaboration abilities.
  • Oversee quality assurance processes.
  • Possess proficiency (minimum 3 years' experience) in one or more of the following trades, with a basic understanding of others:
  • Carpentry
  • Painting
  • Drywall
  • Electrical
  • Plumbing
  • Framing
  • Mechanical
  • Organize building materials effectively.
  • Access and understand company tool inventory.
  • Demonstrate basic structural knowledge and install structures independently.
  • Prepare daily construction reports.
  • Understand the building process and material costs.
  • Comprehend design specifications.
  • Work under general supervision and may lead small projects or teams.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Provide personal hand tools as required.
Qualifications

Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma, technical trade school, or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) or technical trade school equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a construction field environment.
Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret plans and specifications. Ability to communicate effectively with owners, hospital staff, subcontractors, vendors, and other KR Wolfe personnel.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to work with basic construction mathematical concepts and calculations.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to identify problems and establish solutions.

Computer Skills

Basic computer skills, including communication via email and proficiency in Microsoft Office, as well as data entry into KR Wolfe construction software.

Travel Requirements

This position requires 100% travel and may involve working on days, weekends, nights, and evenings.
