About Our Pediatric ICU RN Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse to join our team at Medical City Dallas. As a PICU RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our young patients and their families.

What You Will Do

  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in the ICU
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources
  • Supervise and mentor non-licensed nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and families

Requirements

  • ADN or BSN degree in nursing, with a focus on pediatric nursing
  • Texas State RN license or compact license, with a current BLS certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, with a minimum of one year of recent PICU RN experience in an acute care hospital
