Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at Orion Talent. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing routine and emergency maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of heavy equipment and vehicles in-shop or in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, air conditioning, and emissions systems issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, including oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication.
  • Repair diesel trucks, including engines, alignments, suspension, hydraulics, transmissions, and electrical systems.
  • Conduct failure analysis and service repairs for customers.

Requirements
  • Experience servicing tractor/heavy equipment/medium-to-heavy-duty diesel trucks.
  • Experience servicing truck brakes, suspension, clutch, chassis, and some engine work.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Basic hand tool knowledge and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
