About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate occupational therapist to join our team at Amedisys, a leading provider of home health, hospice, and high-acuity care. As an occupational therapist with Amedisys, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and their families by providing much-needed care in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver occupational therapy services under a physician-approved plan of care, ensuring the safety and effectiveness of the service delivery process.
  • Complete documentation timely and accurately, and supervise home health aides as needed.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement personalized plans of care.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to provide high-quality care and services.
Requirements
  • Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state of assignment.
  • Graduate of an occupational therapy program accredited by ACOTE or successor organizations.
  • Eligible to take or has successfully completed the NBCOT certification examination.
  • One year of related occupational therapy experience or approval from regional clinical leaders for less than one year of experience.
