Role Summary

The Multi-Family Superintendent will oversee the onsite management and coordination of construction projects. This role requires a seasoned professional with a minimum of 10 years of experience in managing commercial construction activities, adept in all aspects of the construction process from initial groundwork to final inspections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, including look-ahead planning.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure timelines are met.
  • Organize daily, weekly, and monthly workforce allocations in line with the master schedule.
  • Implement quality control measures and ensure safety compliance on-site.
  • Monitor project expenses through regular assessments of labor, materials, and equipment costs.
  • Manage the procurement and inventory of construction materials.
  • Assess work progress and provide budget estimates based on actual performance and historical data.
  • Exhibit extensive knowledge of construction processes and techniques.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, including foremen and laborers.
  • Ensure job sites are well-organized and adhere to safety standards.
  • Facilitate building inspections and maintain positive relationships with local authorities.
  • Document daily activities and maintain records in project management software.
Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Extensive field experience; a Bachelor's degree is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in the multi-family construction sector.
  • Strong management skills with a focus on scheduling and cost control.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant technology tools.
  • Preferred certifications such as OSHA and LEED.
