Mativ is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Compounder to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Raw Material Management: Ensure all raw materials are available and properly stored.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain all equipment, including kettles, to ensure optimal performance.
  • Sample Collection: Pull samples for quality control, retain, and microbial testing.
  • Product Dispensing: Dispense products accurately and efficiently.
  • Documentation: Complete and maintain proper documentation for each kettle.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Calibration: Calibrate weight scales daily and weekly.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and does not build up rust.
  • Brine Solution Preparation: Prepare the brine solution as needed.
  • Track Solution Maintenance: Maintain the track solution with each batch record.
  • Equipment Sanitation: Ensure all equipment totes are clean and rinsed, ready for subsequent use.

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills: Ability to properly use standard inspection equipment (calipers, thickness gage, and other gages).
  • Computer Literacy: Basic computer skills using Word and Excel.
  • Attention to Detail: Detailed oriented with good organizational skills.
  • Communication: Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Machine Operation: Ability to run a machine in a manufacturing environment.
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent experience in operating a machine.
  • Language: Demonstrated ability to read, understand, and communicate in English.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
  • Platform Experience: Experience working on platforms.
