Job Summary

Mindful Care is seeking a highly skilled Patient Experience Coordinator to join our team. As a Patient Experience Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients, handling patient scheduling and inquiries, and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service to patients via phone, email, and text
  • Manage patient scheduling and rescheduling, including same-day eligibility and verification
  • Collect balance due, copayments, and no-show fees
  • Act as a liaison between patients and providers, addressing any concerns or issues
  • Triaging incoming inquiries from other departments and re-engaging patients who no-show for appointments
  • Manage in-office appointments and provide support to patients during their visit
  • Provide technical support to patients to facilitate their provider experience
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a medical office/hospital/clinic environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience verifying health insurance
  • Prior customer service experience in a medical or mental health setting
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems
