Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Clinic

UAB Health System is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at the Family/Sports Medicine Clinic, UAB Hospital Highlands. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Radiologic Technologist to perform a variety of specialized services, including medical testing, X-rays, and patient chart preparation. If you have a passion for delivering exceptional patient care and working in a fast-paced healthcare environment, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform medical testing, including vital signs, lab work, and X-rays, as designated by physicians or pre-designated protocols.
  • Prepare and collect charge tickets, patient charts, and update patient information.
  • Answer and document patient phone calls regarding medical questions, test results, and medication.
  • Work independently and make decisions within established parameters.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT registered or registry eligible for the ARRT certification in radiography.
  • One year experience in a customer service or comparable capacity.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Medical office experience in an occupational medicine or workman's compensation setting.
