Job Summary

Corewell Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist Sr. to perform accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology. The ideal candidate will demonstrate good clinical skills, provide high-quality images for interpretation, and apply principles of radiation protection and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform quality diagnostic exams after verifying patient identification and physician orders.
  • Acquire accurate patient histories and document in the medical record.
  • Monitor patients during procedures to ensure patient safety.
  • Operate diagnostic imaging equipment and follow policy for malfunctions or quality control failures.
  • Minimize radiation exposure to patients, staff, and self.
  • Provide procedural information and education to patients and families prior to each exam.
  • Contribute to the effective operations of the department by assisting fellow employees and staying in compliance with quality assurance and quality control.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography program.
  • CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association or ARC American Red Cross.
