Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team on a PRN basis. As a Physical Therapist at Fleet Landing, you will have the opportunity to evaluate and treat a primarily geriatric caseload, working with a mix of general orthopedic conditions, vestibular rehab, neurologic movement disorders, and performance enhancement programs.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat residents with disorders of musculoskeletal deficiencies, neurological conditions, balance disorders, and transfer/gait deficits.
- Screen or evaluate residents of our short-term rehab program, including new facility residents within 24 hours of admission and long-term residents upon receipt of a significant change form or referral from nursing.
- Complete all necessary documentation, including initial evaluation forms, weekly progress notes, monthly recertification forms, and discharge summaries.
- Attend all required community meetings and in-services.
- Develop programs to assist residents in achieving their highest feasible level of functioning.
- Assist the community in meeting state, federal, and other certification standards.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
- Masters of Science Degree or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy.
- State licensure.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
