Software Quality Assurance Specialist

The Software Quality Assurance Specialist is tasked with collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and business users to comprehend requirements, convert those into testing scenarios, execute testing protocols, and monitor progress and issues throughout the testing phase.

  • Analyze and grasp requirements documentation in partnership with product owners and business users.
  • Create comprehensive test plans and test scenarios to ensure alignment with requirements.
  • Perform test executions and meticulously document outcomes.
  • Identify and log software issues for tracking purposes.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to address and resolve identified issues.
  • Support user acceptance testing initiatives.
  • Establish and formalize testing methodologies.

  • Proven experience in software quality assurance testing.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail and adeptness in troubleshooting.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing test plans and scenarios.

  • Proven track record of driving projects to successful completion.
  • Ability to foster and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a QA testing role.
  • Knowledge of SQL is advantageous.
  • Experience with automated testing tools is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations is a plus.
