Job Description

Job Title: Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team at Saxon Global. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by identifying and reporting defects, developing and executing test plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with product owners and business users to review and understand requirements specifications.
  • Develop test plans and test cases to ensure requirements traceability.
  • Execute test cases, regression test cases, and document results.
  • Document and track software defects and ensure that they are resolved properly and in a timely manner.
  • Work with product owners and business users to discuss requirements questions.
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure coding standards are being followed and determine the right solutions for resolving defects.
  • Assist in user acceptance testing.
  • Establish and document testing processes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the role as a QA testing analyst.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to focus on details and document and troubleshoot errors.
  • Strong organizational skills which will be used to appropriately document test plans and test cases, organize and run meetings, and participate in testing.
  • Proactive thinking and behavior: being able to anticipate, plan and execute in ways which help drive and increase the efficiency of our business.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with leaders and team members of all 84.51° functions.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, and be able to effectively communicate within the team.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service at all times.
  • Be able to manage and coordinate multiple testing projects simultaneously.
  • Documented history of successfully driving projects to completion.
  • Must be able to build and maintain a positive relationship with vendors and internal suppliers and customers.
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks.
  • Bachelors in Computer Science or related field is preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • SQL knowledge.
  • Experience in using automated testing tools.
  • Experience in Salesforce and Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
