- Therapy and Intervention: Provide therapy to improve speech articulation, language comprehension and expression, voice production, fluency, and cognitive-communication skills.
- Swallowing Disorders Management: Assess and treat swallowing difficulties (dysphagia) to improve safety and efficiency of swallowing function.
- Collaboration and Consultation: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and caregivers to coordinate treatment plans and ensure holistic care.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Research and Continuing Education: Stay updated with advances in the field through research literature, conferences, and workshops.
- Advocacy and Community Outreach: Advocate for individuals with communication disorders to ensure access to appropriate services and resources.
Job Details:
- Shift: Day shift, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
- Meal Allowance: $300.00 per diem (tax-free)
- Lodging Allowance: $650.00 per diem (tax-free)
- Weekly Gross Pay: $1,750.00 before taxes
- Pay Package Details: 14 weeks, 40 hours per week, $20.00 hourly taxable, $53.75 OT hourly taxable
