Position: Development Buyer/Planner (Marine Systems)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the internal scheduling of materials and services to ensure timely delivery.
  • Generate purchase orders for outsourced components and materials.
  • Engage in qualification and development orders to support project needs.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in planning, purchasing, or engineering roles.
  • Familiarity with LEAN Manufacturing principles.
  • Proficient in MRP systems and machining processes.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and analyze technical documentation effectively.
  • Produce work and purchase orders as required.
  • Manage material flow and address shortages proactively.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Negotiate terms with suppliers and monitor their performance.
  • Facilitate the transition from Development to Production phases.
