We are seeking a skilled Information Clerk to join our team at PrideStaff in Ft. Lauderdale.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented individual to maintain databases, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in customer and account information management.

As an Information Clerk, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information, establishing entry priorities, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Processing customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies and returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.
  • Entering customer and account data into our system using keyboard or optical scanner according to screen format.
  • Maintaining data entry requirements by following established procedures and techniques.
  • Verifying entered data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data, combining data from both systems when account information is incomplete, and purging files to eliminate duplication of data.
  • Testing system changes and upgrades by inputting new data and reviewing output.
  • Securing information by completing database backups.
  • Maintaining operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes, and maintaining customer confidence and protecting operations by keeping information confidential.

Benefits and Compensation
