Your Role
The Pharmacy Fulfillment Specialist at our Central Fulfillment Center plays a crucial role in a high-volume, closed-door pharmacy environment. This position involves filling prescriptions under the direct oversight of a licensed pharmacist. You will engage with advanced prescription filling automation technologies and semi-manual workstations to ensure order accuracy and maintain a steady workflow to achieve team objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to and promote established pharmacy, safety, and security protocols.
- Utilize scanning and counting technologies to accurately select pharmaceutical products and quantities for prescription orders.
- Ensure medication counting devices are consistently stocked.
- Assist in maintaining pharmacy systems and technologies that support the counting, packaging, and shipping of prescriptions.
- Monitor inventory levels and perform basic troubleshooting on machinery to ensure smooth operations.
- Document processes as required and manually fill prescriptions when necessary.
- Verify product attributes such as size, strength, and quantity before processing orders.
- Prepare and sort prescription orders for shipping.
- Participate in inventory audits and assist inventory technicians as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Demonstrates a commitment to a culture of safety and looks out for the well-being of self and others.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and strives for optimal productivity and efficiency.
- Highly organized and adaptable, capable of prioritizing tasks effectively.

Required:
- Valid Pharmacy Technician License in the relevant state.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
- Experience as a Central Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician.
- Comfortable working in a closed-door environment.
- Proficient computer and math skills.
