We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Store Operations Coordinator to join our team at Genuine Parts Company. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning local deliveries to wholesale customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assign drivers to make deliveries based on product to be delivered, customer locations, and time of day.
  • Track the progress of drivers along their routes and balance workloads, break times, and customer needs.
  • Check drivers in and out and transfer records into company files for analysis and improvements in efficiency.
  • Receive and resolve customer requests and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Act as a driver when needed during peak delivery times.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
  • 1-2 years prior experience in the retail automotive service industry, preferably in an automotive part department, dealership, or jobber or retail establishment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • Proactive attitude, analytical skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks and time-sensitive issues.
  • Ability to work on feet for assigned work shift and lift and move parts and boxes weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
