Job Title: Senior Accountant

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year.

Hire Point Recruiting is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
  2. Maintain the general ledger system, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
  3. Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts, providing recommendations to enhance financial performance and mitigate risks.
  4. Conduct variance analysis, trend analysis, and ad-hoc financial modeling to identify areas of improvement and support strategic decision-making.
  5. Implement and monitor internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  6. Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits, providing documentation and support to facilitate the audit process.
  7. Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with tax regulations, including corporate income tax, sales tax, and other applicable taxes.
  8. Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, enhance efficiency, and improve financial reporting accuracy.
  9. Collaborate with various departments, including finance, operations, and risk management, to support business initiatives and address financial implications.
  10. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
