Pediatric ER Registered Nurse Job Description

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Pediatric ER Registered Nurse for a travel nursing job in Washington, District of Columbia.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Pediatric ER Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Pediatric ER Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to children ranging from newborns to 18 years of age who need immediate attention for traumas, injuries, or illnesses.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
  • Provide proper care to patients with general and specific health issues.
  • Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
  • Make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients.
Requirements
  • Active RN License
  • Degree from accredited nursing program
  • BLS & ACLS Certifications
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Transplant setting
