A Day in the Life

A Technical Program Manager in the AWS China Security and Technology team drives security and compliance programs across multiple organizations at the working group and executive level. We work with service teams and security teams to drive controls to meet data sovereignty and regulatory requirements in China.

The AWS Security China and Technology Organization is responsible for all Information Security related to the AWS China business. Our teams include Regulatory Engagement, Audit & Compliance, Security Operations, and Security Solution Delivery. We are passionate about delivering industry-leading security solutions for our customers and supporting the AWS business in China, while innovating to create globally-applicable solutions.

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
  • 3+ years of software development experience
