**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Northside Hospital. As a Registered Professional Nurse, you will be responsible for planning and providing professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.

**Responsibilities:**

* Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
* Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop individualized care plans
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
* Monitor patient progress, adjust care plans as needed, and communicate effectively with patients and families
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction

**Requirements:**

* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations
* Minimum of two (2) years of full-time experience as a RN post-orientation or post-residency training
* Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
* Other REQUIRED cardiopulmonary resuscitation certifications (ACLS, NRP, PALS, etc.) are unit specific
* Please refer to the specific clinical unit for additional education, competencies, and/or certification required as a condition of employment
* Other REQUIRED RN attributes are unit specific

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* BSN degree
* National Certification in Clinical Specialty
* Other preferred RN attributes are unit specific
