Job Summary

The Clinical Float is a vital role in providing direct or indirect care to patients with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems, as well as preventive care. This position requires travel to multiple clinics, with work locations varying.

Responsibilities
  • Provide general patient care, assistance with procedures, and documentation of activities.
  • Deliver patient and family education.
Requirements
  • Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current certification/license from one of the following: Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, National Certified Medical Assistant, Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant Clinical, or Active LPN license in state of employment.
  • CPR provider certification.
