About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at the Valdosta, GA plant. As a key member of our Maintenance Department, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment to ensure optimal plant performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain machinery and equipment to ensure efficient plant operations
  • Operate hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools to perform maintenance tasks
  • Troubleshoot mechanical failures and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime
  • Repair, rebuild, and maintain mechanical drive systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Install material systems to improve plant efficiency
  • Fabricate parts and equipment as needed
Requirements
  • Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture and adherence to company safety procedures
  • Regular and prompt attendance, with ability to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the position, including standing, sitting, working in confined spaces, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Previous welding, pneumatic, and mechanical experience is a plus
  • Working knowledge of 3-phase electrical is a plus
  • High school education or equivalent is preferred
