Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Project Coordinator to join our team at Facility Solutions Group, Inc. as a key member of our Electrical Construction team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and audit electrical wiring and lighting plans, schedules, one-line diagrams, and details for various projects.
  • Prepare and revise drawings in AutoCAD and Revit with minimal supervision, ensuring all drawings adhere to company standards.
  • Develop REVIT Electrical and Lighting models and associated contract drawings.
  • Maintain project drawing files, file layering, drawing library, and associated records and documentation.
  • Perform limited design functions, including layout of equipment and spatial planning in the electrical model.
  • Maintain and update department standards (symbols, details, etc.).
  • Communicate effectively with clients, external project team consultants, and other in-house staff to produce high-quality designs and drawings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in a related field or relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in electrical design and BIM-related software.
  • Proficiency in 2D & 3D Design – Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Proven ability to design electrical systems and drafts.
  • Basic understanding of Electrical Systems and drafts.
  • Experience in communicating technical information with others.
  • Experience in lighting is a plus.
