Position Overview

HYDRO-ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGIES INC is actively seeking full-time Certified Industrial Hygienists/Industrial Hygiene Consultants to enhance our growing team.

The selected candidates will undertake a variety of responsibilities related to industrial hygiene (IH) and environmental consulting services, which include:

  • Conducting assessments of indoor air quality and developing/implementing comprehensive IH programs.
  • Investigating fungal and microbial contamination issues.
  • Performing human health risk evaluations.
  • Serving a diverse clientele, with a particular focus on the insurance sector.
  • Providing expert witness testimony and support for litigation processes.
  • Collaborating with the Director of Business Development to promote regional growth for their respective offices.

Qualifications:

  • A master's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Industrial Hygiene, or Occupational Safety, along with a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) credential (or equivalent professional experience).
  • A minimum of ten years of relevant experience in environmental/IH consulting, health & safety, or insurance-related fields.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation and interpersonal abilities.
  • Prior experience in business development is preferred.
  • Proficiency in delivering environmental and indoor air quality risk assessments and/or claims services to the insurance industry is essential.
