Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Safety Consultant to join our team in California. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for providing health and safety compliance consulting services to our clients, helping them to improve their performance and achieve their health and safety goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct health and safety risk assessments and evaluations to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Perform health and safety compliance audits to ensure clients are meeting applicable CalOSHA requirements.
  • Design, develop, and implement health and safety management systems to meet specific standards, such as ISO 45001.
  • Develop and implement written health and safety programs, including hazard communication, lockout/tagout, confined space, and working at heights.
  • Develop and deliver safety training program content to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Perform project management, oversight, and coordination to ensure successful delivery of safety services.
  • Build and maintain key client relationships and identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Prepare client deliverables, including reports and presentations.
  • Mentor project team members and provide guidance on safety best practices.
  • Travel to client sites as needed to provide on-site support and training.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in safety, industrial hygiene, science, or engineering-related field.
  • 10-15 years of experience in various manufacturing environments across targeted industries.
  • Experience organizing and conducting CalOSHA health and safety audits.
  • Experienced in developing and delivering CalOSHA compliance programs.
  • Experienced in performing safety due diligence assessments.
  • Experienced in designing, developing, and implementing safety management systems (ISO 45001).
  • Experienced in business development and working with account teams to grow revenue.
  • Intuitive and creative thinker with strong communication and technical health and safety skills.
  • Ability to work as a team player to support our national service platform.
  • Interface well with and develop a rapport and positive relationship with clients and employees.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred.
  • Client management experience preferred.
  • Service growth experience preferred.

Compensation

In accordance with local law, the salary range for this position is $80,000 - $95,200 per year, depending on experience, education, and other factors.

Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program, contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance.
