Job Summary

The Retail Operations Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the Corporate Retail team in managing day-to-day operations and administrative functions. This position will be responsible for assisting with retail planning, operations, marketing, training, and department projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of daily sales flash reports.
  • Review and maintain operational reporting, including data analysis and insights.
  • Support department administrative functions, including processing and auditing invoices, reviewing vendor inquiries, and resolving payment requests.
  • Coordinate and fulfill monthly store supply requests, maintaining supply and store clothing inventory, and replenishing as needed.
  • Review and ensure stores remain on budget with monthly Staples orders.
  • Partner with the Retail Team to prepare and distribute training decks, manuals, and information to store teams.
  • Prepare topics for and participate in weekly store conference calls.
  • Monitor accuracy of field team attendance records and review store schedules to ensure adherence to payroll budgets and business maximization.
  • Partner with the Retail Team on store incentives and receive store requests, distributing them to appropriate departments.
  • Support cross-channel departments with sales audit, chargebacks, inventory questions, and other inquiries.
  • Log all store incident reports for monthly discussion to support performance management.
  • Log all store repair requests and coordinate repair and maintenance action leading to resolution.
  • Conduct month-end audits of all sales data and deposits, researching, resolving, and reporting on all discrepancies.
  • Partner with merchandise planners on cycle counts and physical inventory process and execution.
  • Participate in the development, training, and roll-out of store systems.
  • Travel to stores to assess and support store operational needs.
  • Participate in store openings, repairs, renovations, retrofits, changeovers, and other projects.
Requirements
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel formulas.
  • Flexibility in schedule availability for department special projects and needs, including after-hours installations, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Must be organized and able to multitask, with the ability to delegate, think autonomously, and solve problems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to interact with company executives, consultants, vendors, contractors, and people at all levels.
  • Strong work ethic, sense of urgency, and commitment to achieving targets and deadlines.
  • Must maintain a current, valid driver's license.
Physical Requirements

Ability to pack boxes of supplies and other items to send to stores.

Ability to lift boxes up to 20 pounds.
