About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Seasonal Retail Receiving Support Associate to join our team at Macy's. As a key member of our receiving team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of merchandise into our stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and process merchandise from delivery trucks, including unpacking and removing packaging materials.
  • Sort and organize merchandise based on type, size, and category, ensuring accurate labeling and tagging.
  • Process and sign merchandise in accordance with productivity standards and asset protection inventory control procedures.
  • Transfer merchandise from the receiving area to the stockroom or sales floor, assisting the Merchandise Team with new product placement, season changes, and clearance sets.
  • Select merchandise from the selling floor and apply packing policies and techniques to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Retrieve orders from the back-of-house storage and deliver them curbside to customers, monitoring alerts for Ready on Time completion of Buy Online Pickup In-Store (BOPS) orders.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve department goals and maintain a positive work environment.
