Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Digital Finishing Operator to join our team at Quad. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating digital finishing equipment, ensuring high-quality products meet customer expectations, and contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate various bindery equipment, including cutting, folding, scoring, drilling, stitching, and gluing, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Follow a production schedule to ensure jobs are completed in the correct order and on time.
  • Monitor machine operations to determine whether adjustments are needed and perform routine adjustments and basic maintenance.
  • Verify order documentation, communicate order information to support staff, and prepare for order production.
  • Establish efficient production methods to achieve expected quality and quantity.
Requirements
  • Basic computer skills, including navigating multiple computer screens quickly and efficiently.
  • Solid organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations and read measuring devices.
  • Color differentiation and ability to pass a color test.
  • Previous experience as a Finishing Operator, including setting up, operating, and troubleshooting bindery equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, team player, and detail-oriented, with the ability to receive and follow instructions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, perform repetitious tasks, and work any shift, including overtime.
