Key Responsibilities- Student Engagement: Develop and implement individualized plans to engage students in goal planning, monitoring progress, and self-advocacy.
- Virtual Learning Activities: Utilize technology and digital resources to manage students in virtual learning activities and promote academic progress.
- Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Conduct virtual assessments and progress monitoring to evaluate students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other team members to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Progress Reporting: Communicate with school administration and general education teachers to facilitate progress in the classroom.
- Education: Bachelor's Level Degree in Education and Master's or Doctoral degree in Special Education from an accredited program.
- Certifications: Must have an appropriate certified state teaching license in CA and state of residence.
- Technical Requirements: Must have a home computer and strong internet connection. Experience with virtual platforms (Zoom/Teams) is preferred.
