Job Overview

Hyperion Biotechnology is on the lookout for qualified candidates for the role of Cognitive Performance Specialist (CPS) to contribute to the US Army's Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) initiative under the Center for Initial Military Training (CIMT). The selected Coaches will play a pivotal role in delivering proactive health and wellness initiatives, injury prevention strategies, and performance enhancement services to personnel within the Army Training and Doctrine Command.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance on training Soldiers to enhance cognitive abilities and mental preparedness techniques.
  • Establish and uphold guidelines for the implementation of the Mental Readiness Program.
  • Coordinate initiatives aimed at optimizing cognitive performance.
  • Create educational materials tailored for Soldiers.
  • Mentor and train Soldiers in performance enhancement.
  • Assist in research efforts and gather data pertinent to mental readiness programs.

Essential Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Human Performance, Sport Psychology, or Counseling/Clinical Psychology.
  • Preferred certification in sports psychology.
  • A minimum of three years of experience as a mental performance coach.
  • Experience working directly with Service Members is preferred.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Strong interpersonal relationship abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands associated with training.
  • Must pass a government background check.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
