We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at QPS Employment Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift equipped with lifting devices, such as forkgrapple, clamps, elevating platform, or trailer hitch, to move raw materials, in-process products, finished products, equipment, or materials within the warehouse, storage yard, or factory.
  • Drive a forklift to load and unload semitrailer trucks, and maintain accurate inventory and report any discrepancies.
  • Perform safety checks on lifts and perform light maintenance as required, including lubricating the truck, recharging batteries, filling the fuel tank, or replacing the liquefied gas tank.
  • Organize and assign storage space utilized in warehousing and moving materials in the departments.
  • Perform inventory control, tracking, and reporting inventory utilizing a materials management system.

Requirements:

  • At least three years of experience operating a forklift with clamp attachments in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Knowledge of safe operating procedures for power industrial trucks.
  • Knowledge of weight capacities, balancing product and height thresholds.
  • Experience relocating, picking material in narrow aisles, moving material up/down ramps, and unloading product from transportation vehicles.
